Moving to Tutor LMS just got easier. With the Tutor LMS Migration Tool v2.5.0, we’re bringing deeper LearnPress support, stronger LearnDash migration capabilities, and a faster, safer migration process designed to help you bring more of your existing LMS data with you.

For anyone moving an existing course site to Tutor LMS, more of the data that matters can now make the move with you.

A major step forward for LearnPress migrations

LearnPress users get the biggest upgrade in this release, with several important pieces of course, quiz, and eCommerce data now supported.

You can now migrate course pricing and orders directly into Tutor LMS’s native eCommerce system, making it easier to bring an existing course business into Tutor LMS without rebuilding that data manually.

Quiz migration is also more comprehensive. Fill-in-the-blanks questions and quiz settings are now supported, while improved question and answer mapping helps ensure your quizzes are transferred more accurately.

We’ve also added course meta import support and a dedicated Enrollments section to the migration dashboard, giving you greater visibility into the data being migrated.

Together, these updates make the transition from LearnPress to Tutor LMS considerably more complete.

Stronger LearnDash migration support

LearnDash migrations also receive several important improvements in Tutor LMS Migration Tool v2.5.0.

Subscription import support is now available, while course progress imports have been improved for greater accuracy. We’ve also fixed a crash that could occur during quiz migration, making the process more reliable.

A faster, safer migration process

Beyond platform-specific improvements, v2.5.0 makes the migration workflow better across both LearnPress and LearnDash.

A new batch import system improves how course data is processed, helping make larger imports more efficient and stable.

We’ve also separated student enrollment imports from course imports, giving you more control over the migration process, while improvements to the enrollment import mechanism make the process more reliable across both platforms.

Course taxonomy import support is now available as well, so taxonomy data can be brought over as part of the migration.

And to help protect your existing site, a safety warning now appears before data is deleted, giving you an additional confirmation step before any potentially destructive action.
