Completing the Course

When a student clicks Complete the Course from the header, one of two things happens depending on whether they have finished all required lessons and assessments:

• If the course is not fully complete: A “Finish Course Early?” message appears. It shows the student’s current progress percentage and explains that not all required lessons and assessments have been completed. The student can choose Go Back to Course to continue, or Complete Anyway to mark it as finished regardless.

• If all required content is complete: The course is marked as completed, and a Course Info screen is shown. This screen displays a congratulations message, the date the course was completed, the grade received (if Gradebook is enabled), and buttons to View Certificate and Download Certificate (if the Certificate add-on is enabled). Below that, the full course information is shown, the course thumbnail, instructor name, total enrolled students, level, duration, and a list of what the student learned.

After completing the course, the “How Was Your Experience?” review modal will appear, prompting the student to leave a rating and written review before leaving the course.
