Content Delivery Settings

Tutor LMS allows instructors to control the specific timing and progression of course materials to ensure a structured learning experience. These settings are managed primarily through two official Add-ons: Content Drip and Course Prerequisites.

Activating the Add-ons

Before you can apply these advanced delivery rules to a course, the respective Add-ons must be enabled by the platform administrator.

1. Navigate to the WordPress backend admin panel.
2. Go to Tutor LMS > Addons.
3. Locate the Content Drip and Prerequisites modules in the list.
4. Toggle the switch for each module to the “Enabled” position.

Configuring Content Drip Schedules and Course Prerequisites

The Content Drip feature allows you to release lessons, quizzes, and assignments gradually rather than all at once. Once the Content Drip Add-on is active, a new “Content Drip” section will appear within the Basics tab of the Course Builder. Enabling the primary toggle in this section reveals four specific delivery types:

• Schedule course content by date
• Content available after X days from enrollment
• Course content available sequentially
• Course content unlocked after finishing the prerequisites

The Prerequisites addon allows you to build custom, non-linear progression paths. It requires the student to complete specific, predefined items before they can access the current lesson.
