Overview

This page describes the complete learning experience for students enrolled in a course on Tutor LMS 4.0. It covers everything a student encounters from the moment they open a lesson to the point of completing the course and receiving their certificate.

Prerequisites and Required Add-ons

Some features described in this section are only available when specific Tutor LMS add-ons are enabled. The core learning interface, video lessons, reading lessons, quizzes, and the curriculum sidebar are available with the base plugin. The following features require add-ons to be active:

  • Assignments: requires the Assignments add-on.
  • Content Drip: Sequential or date-based content unlocking requires the Content Drip add-on.
  • Prerequisites: Set course prerequisites for offering a guided learning path
  • Live Classes via Zoom: requires the Zoom Integration add-on.
  • Live Classes via Google Meet: requires the Google Meet Integration add-on.
  • Gradebook: requires the Gradebook add-on.
  • Certificate: requires the Certificate add-on.
  • Course Attachments: For attaching unlimited attachments/ private files to any Tutor course

Add-ons can be enabled from Tutor LMS → Add-ons in the WordPress dashboard.
